THE WORK
I designed the north half of New York City, shaping the open-world spaces, routes, landmarks, and opportunities players encounter while traversing the city.
I also designed all of the Research Stations and Photo Mode, creating both a mission framework that encouraged exploration and a feature that gave players new ways to see and capture the world.
Designed the north half of the city with an emphasis on readable districts, compelling traversal, memorable landmarks, and rewarding exploration.
Designed every Research Station, using distinct objectives and locations to reveal the city through focused open-world missions.
Designed Photo Mode to let players compose, customize, and capture their own view of Spider-Man and the city.
I designed and implemented every Research Station mission. By using efficient, inexpensive scripting techniques to create fresh mechanics and scenarios, I was able to ship 17 unique missions.
